Quick Analysis
SUMMONER SPELLS:
Summoner’s Spells are an obvious choice for junglers: Smite + Flash.
RUNES:
A large portion of Hecarim’s power comes from his movement speed. So, Broxah’s favorite keystone for this champion is Phase Rush. This rune gives a burst of MS after a three quick attacks, which isn’t a problem at all for Hecarim.
Nimbus Cloak does a similar job but it activates after using Flash or an ultimate. And Celerity and Waterwalking are straight-up movement speed bonuses that Hecarim can abuse throughout the game.
For secondary runes, Broxah goes for Sudden Impact and Ravenous Hunter. The first one provides him with armor penetration when Hecarim goes all-in with his ultimate. And the second is a nice way of regenerating health while being in combat.
ITEMS:
Trinity Force is the mythic item of choice for Broxah on Hecarim. He prioritizes it before any other item, since it’s the first power spike of the champion.
The other two crucial items for success are Sterak’s Gage and Plated Steelcaps. Broxah sometimes swaps for Ionian Boots of Lucidity but that’s only in games where he isn’t facing an AD threat.
The defensive options that Broxah juggles on Hecarim are Spirit Visage and Thornmail. Spirit Visage should be bought primarily against an AP team composition, and Thornmail against an AD one with multiple marksmen.
