Quick Analysis
SUMMONER SPELLS:
The first thing that Caps is unique about in playing Cassiopeia is that he favors Flash and Barrier in combination. Most players go for Teleport instead of Barrier, but Caps likes to have an extra defensive option for dueling enemies.
RUNES:
Conqueror is the best-performing keystone on Cassiopeia. Even though she is ranged, the healing bonus is incredible and super valuable on this champion. Combined with Taste of Blood and Ravenous Hunter, Cassiopeia can become unkillable.
Presence of Mind is another wonderful addition to Cassiopeia and Caps acknowledges that. The mana regeneration is extremely needed, especially in the early game.
ITEMS:
In season 11, Caps always goes for Liandry’s Anguish as the first item of choice on Cassiopeia. He follows it with Seraph’s Embrace and Zhonya’s Hourglass. These three item have a fantastic build path which offer mana, damage, and survivability, and Caps always takes advantage of it.
The rest of the build changes with each game. Caps regularly switches between Demonic Embrace, Rabadon’s Deathcap, Banshee’s Veil, and Void Staff depending on the situation at hand. Against tanks, Caps chooses Void Staff or Demonic Embrace, and against heavy CC comp Banshee’s Veil.
If Caps gets ahead, he sometimes buys Mejai’s Soulstealer on Cassiopeia.
