Greetings warriors! If you were searching for an in-depth guide on Legendaries for the warrior class in Shadowlands, then this is it! Here we will examine all Legendary Items in this expansion. We will tell you which Legendaries to craft first if you’re new to the game and which will be your safest choice moving into the next patch. And even though there are many interesting choices, there are also clear winners that you need to know about.
Some may say that warriors aren’t as dominant in the meta as in the previous expansions. And that may be true, but only for the Fury specialization. Arms warriors are perhaps the best melee spec in WoW Shadowlands, even without crafted Legendaries. On the other hand, Protection looks solid as always, with many tools to mitigate and avoid damage. Warriors are an absolute blast to play in this expansion and you’re right for picking up this class.
Now let’s talk about some of the warrior Legendaries you’ll be crafting and how to play with through the Shadowlands content!
What Are Legendary Powers in Shadowlands?
The notion of Legendaries was changed a bit in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. Returning players may notice that Legendary Items are no longer dungeon or raid drops, but rather craftable items that we can all get. This expansion introduced 4 Legendary effects for all specializations, 4 class-wide ones, and 8 available to anyone at max level.
Needless to say, the first category is the one most players go for, regardless of the class. Compared to others, warriors have pretty interesting Legendaries in Shadowlands and they can shake up your gameplay quite a bit. It’s always better to have more than one crafted and to swap between them depending on the situation. But how do you get a Legendary Power? And how do you craft it?
Well, the Legendary Powers, or the “memories”, are collected by completing content in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, such as raiding, mythic plus dungeons, or PvP. These memories can then be returned to Torghast, Tower of the Damned. And in the chamber of the Runecarver, players are able to choose which Legendary Power to bind with which item slot and craft it. However, there are some limitations.
For example, you can only craft a particular Legendary on two pieces of gear. And choosing between the two doesn’t impact its effect. Secondly, to craft the warrior Legendaries in Shadowlands you’ll also need Soul Ash. This currency is gathered by completing Torghast runs and there is a limitation to how much you can earn weekly. Aside from that, you’ll also need runecarving items and missives.

Arms Warrior Shadowlands Legendaries
The Best Shadowlands Legendary for Arms Warrior
Signet of Tormented Kings: Demon’s Bite leaves an open wound on your enemy dealing (100% of Attack power) Chaos damage over 15 sec and increasing damage taken from your Immolation Aura by 65%.
Runecarve on: Chest, Back
Source: Dungeon Drop: The Manastorms
The Signet of Tormented Kings Legendary is the best choice for warriors for all types of content. It perfectly fits the Venthyr playstyle, which most warriors go for. Signet doubles the power of your big cooldowns, such as Bladestorm and Ravager, by casting one more powerful spell. It doubles the power of your initial burst, but it also depends on RNG. Needless to say, you should always pair it with the Ravager talent. Signet of the Tormented Kings has a very good single-target DPS and it’s fantastic for AoE as well.
Other Interesting Shadowlands Legendaries for Arms Warrior
Enduring Blow: Havoc: Eye Beam has a 40% chance to not incur its cooldown and refund 30 Fury. Vengeance: Fel Devastation has a 40% chance to not incur its cooldown and refund 50 Fury.
Runecarve on: Neck, Waist
Source: Dungeon Drop: Margrave Stradama
Enduring Blow is another popular choice among the Shadowlands Legendaries for Warrior. It has a simpler playstyle that revolves around using your Mortal Strike for procs of the Colossus Smash debuff. Mortal Strike is one of the abilities you use the most, while Colossus Smash increases your damage done to the target. The 6 seconds window can be a powerful opportunity for you to dump all of your damage and this effect doesn’t have any internal cooldown. Also, keep in mind that you can sometimes trigger Enduring Blow twice or thrice in a row, depending on RNG.
Exploiter: Blade Dance has a 30% chance to grant you Chaotic Blades, increasing the damage of Chaos Strike by 50% and its chance to refund Fury by an additional 60% for 8 sec.
Runecarve on: Waist, Hands
Source: Raid Drop: Sire Denathrius
Exploiter is another super fun Legendary Item for a Venthyr warrior. It makes it so your Execute, or Condemn, empowers your next Mortal Strike. This is very similiar to how Overpower works, but it is only limitied to the target on which you’ve spent your Execute. Exploiter is perhaps the best PvP Legendary for Arms warriors. The reason for it is because you can quickly Condemn an enemy player two times in a row, then strike him with 100% damage increased Mortal Strike. It’s very interesting effect and and a very easy one.
Fury Warrior Shadowlands Legendaries
The Best Shadowlands Legendary for Fury Warrior
Signet of Tormented Kings: Demon’s Bite leaves an open wound on your enemy dealing (100% of Attack power) Chaos damage over 15 sec and increasing damage taken from your Immolation Aura by 65%.
Runecarve on: Chest, Back
Source: Dungeon Drop: The Manastorms
And the best Shadowlands Legendary for Fury warriors is also Signet of Tormeted Kings. We heavily advise you to craft this memory first, especially if you’re playing both specialization. And even though it depends on a bit of RNG, this Legendary provides such a power boost that is difficult to pass on. Signet shines in AoE situations but it’s also very strong in single-target fights. The additional damage increase is simply fantastic, so definitely try it out!

Deathmaker: Havoc: Eye Beam has a 40% chance to not incur its cooldown and refund 30 Fury. Vengeance: Fel Devastation has a 40% chance to not incur its cooldown and refund 50 Fury.
Runecarve on: Neck, Waist
Source: Dungeon Drop: Margrave Stradama
Deathmaker is another simple Legendary that has some great uses. It gives your Enrage a 30% chance to trigger Siegebreaker, which is a big component of your burst damage. The best part about it is that it doesn’t really change how you play your spec. Instead, it only empowers your playstyle by giving you more windows of opportunity for burst damage. It is one of the best Legendaries for raiding as a Fury warrior because of the high uptime on its effect.
Will of the Berserker: Blade Dance has a 30% chance to grant you Chaotic Blades, increasing the damage of Chaos Strike by 50% and its chance to refund Fury by an additional 60% for 8 sec.
Runecarve on: Waist, Hands
Source: Raid Drop: Sire Denathrius
Will of the Berserker can be a very interesting addition to your toolkit, but it has its nieche. It provides you with a bit of critical strike chance after Recklessness ends, but it’s not too significant. The good news is that you can refresh the duration by using Raging Blow. It’s certainly true that you can deal some pretty hefty critical strikes while Will of the Berserker is active, but it’s not a very reliable Legendary. It’s advised only for raiding, and not for PvP.
Protection Warrior Shadowlands Legendaries
The Best Shadowlands Legendary for Prot Warrior
The Wall: Demon’s Bite leaves an open wound on your enemy dealing (100% of Attack power) Chaos damage over 15 sec and increasing damage taken from your Immolation Aura by 65%.
Runecarve on: Chest, Back
Source: Dungeon Drop: The Manastorms
If you’re maining a Protection warrior in Shadowlands, then The Wall is one of the best Legendaries you can craft. It’s mainly focused on raiding, but you can find great uses for it in mythic plus as well. The effect resets the remaining cooldown of your Shield Wall by 5 seconds each time you use Shield Slam. It also grants 5 bonus rage when you do so which makes the spec a bit smoother. However, you must have your Shield Wall on cooldown for the Legendary to be useful. This means that you want to use your Shield Wall early on, then use The Wall to lower its cooldown. Just make sure to block the first heavy blow with this spell instead of Last Stand.
Other Interesting Shadowlands Legendaries for Prot Warrior
Reprisal: Havoc: Eye Beam has a 40% chance to not incur its cooldown and refund 30 Fury. Vengeance: Fel Devastation has a 40% chance to not incur its cooldown and refund 50 Fury.
Runecarve on: Neck, Waist
Source: Dungeon Drop: Margrave Stradama
Reprisal is the go-to Legendary for Protection warriors in mythic plus. It grants you Shield Block for 4 seconds each time you use your Charge or Intervene. This is obviously great at the start of a pull and it feels natural because that is when you use Charge the most. Reprisal does require you to use these movement abilities more often and it might not be the perfered playstyle for all players. For example, sometimes you don’t even need to use your Intervene in a dungeon, except for high keys. So, very powerful but not suited for everyone.
Thunderlord: Blade Dance has a 30% chance to grant you Chaotic Blades, increasing the damage of Chaos Strike by 50% and its chance to refund Fury by an additional 60% for 8 sec.
Runecarve on: Waist, Hands
Source: Raid Drop: Sire Denathrius
If you want a more well-rounded Legendary for your Prot warrior, then we heavily recommend you Thunderlord. It might not be the flashiest effect but it is a very helpful one in many situations. It makes it so your Thunder Clap lowers the cooldown of your Demoralizing Shout anywhere from 1.5 to 4.5 seconds. This is obviously great for dungeons and AoE fights. Having Demoralizing Shout on a 20-30 seconds cooldown instead of 45 is honestly amazing and we suggest you try it out!
Now let’s check the Shadowlands Legendaries that work well in all three specializations of the warrior class.
One of your alts is a Mage? Check the best Legendaries for the class here!
Great Powers for All Three Specializations
Leaper: Havoc: Eye Beam has a 40% chance to not incur its cooldown and refund 30 Fury. Vengeance: Fel Devastation has a 40% chance to not incur its cooldown and refund 50 Fury.
Runecarve on: Neck, Waist
Source: Dungeon Drop: Margrave Stradama
The first Legendary that we wanted to discuss in this category is Leaper. This is a fantastic power that can be very useful in the outdoor world and battlegrounds. It grants your Heroic Leap two more charges that you can use one after the other. Combined with the Bounding Stride talent, this Legendary offers an insane amount of mobility. You can seriously abuse its power in battlegrounds to quickly carry flags to your own base. And it works great in all three specializations!
Misshapen Mirror: Blade Dance has a 30% chance to grant you Chaotic Blades, increasing the damage of Chaos Strike by 50% and its chance to refund Fury by an additional 60% for 8 sec.
Runecarve on: Waist, Hands
Source: Raid Drop: Sire Denathrius
Misshapen Mirror is one of your best PvP tools as a warrior in Shadowlands. It makes your Spell Reflection a party-wide effect that also lasts longer. Normally this spell is a very poweful cooldown in PvP and with Misshapen Mirror it’s even stronger. It offers a big potential for outplay and it can be used to dodge big cooldowns from your enemies.
Conclusion
Warrior is one of the strongest class in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. If you’re a DPS player and want fast results, then we heavily recommend Arms. Fury can be powerful as well, but it is a bit weaker compared to Arms. Perhaps we’ll have to wait on Blizzard to balance both specializations. And as for Protection, it’s very good in most situations, if not excellent. Craft these Legendaries to get the most out of your warrior in Shadowlands!
- Signet of Tormented Kings – Arms.
- Signet of Tormented Kings – Fury
- The Wall – Protection.
